If reheating food in the microwave, the lid can be left on with the air vent open to allow steam to escape.
If reheating food in an oven, remove the lid.
Ensure the air vent is fully closed before placing the container in the fridge or freezer.
Open the air vent lid before reheating to allow steam to escape.
Temperature changes may create a natural vacuum seal. Simply open the vent hole to release pressure before lifting the lid.
